Meshbox Design Introduces Thematics Series with Halfling Village 1 Special Edition

SPECIES BASED LICENSEABLE 3D CONTENT LIBRARIES FOR ART, ANIMATION AND RPG GAMES

March 26, 2005. Beaverton, OR. Meshbox Design, a leading provider of film quality creative assets and vertical engineering talent, announce the release of Halfling Village Volume 1 Special Edition. The product is the first of several racial villages in Meshbox Design’s Thematics series of 3D licensable content for still art, film and games.

Halfling Village Volume 1, Special Edition includes seven core models with “unwrapped” texture maps. Each model is also available for license separately through partnering resellers Renderosity and TurboSquid. It also includes a special eighth model, the Halfling Village Bakery, which is only available as a part of the special edition collection. The Special Edition is only available from the Meshbox Design website.

“Halflings have become an integral part of most of the greatest fantasy properties, from Tolkien to Dungeons and Dragons to Sony’s EverQuest. This collection lets the artist, animator or game designer save time with ready made content specific to this genre,” said Tama Hatanaka, Director of Marketing.

Halfling Village Volume 1, Special Edition is available in two license configurations. A Render License version suitable for non-real-time playback (still art, animation rendering), begins at $35.
