Descriptions

Read a short description of the included themes.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The River Fortress

The River Fortress soundtrack features natural sounds, piping pipes and deep, military bagpipes and drums - a soundtrack which builds towards a coming battle!

Music from River Town Volume 1: The River Dock

Light celtic strings and celtic woodwinds are backed by more traditional strings and orchestra. Conveys a feeling of thoughtfulness or resolution. At 1:20 shifts into a soft drum beat finale.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The Small House on the River

More upbeat drums and strings accompany a lone flute. A more modern soundtrack useful to convey a happy moment on the river, or day to day river life. Incorporates some faux Celtic woman vocals.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The Corracle Maker

Solemn bagpipes and horns with some modern back up with piano and mild electrical guitar and horns. A deep culture sound.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The River Market

Strong drumming with piano and horns - more modern, fast beat. Some faux celtic female voice adds additional mystery.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The River Temple

Ritualistic drums and mysterious sounding horns - ritualistic and somewhat menacing, with some orchestratic background.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The River Bar

Violins, drums and a low woodwind kick up an active Celtic theme that leads in turn to greater numbers of violins. The River Bar is clearly active, though not entirely merry nor sad.

Music from River Town Volume 1: The Old Toll Bridge

Flute, piano and strings make for a Celtic themed track that could emphasize the lonliness of the old toll bridge, or a lost love
