of Independence!
About the Models
- Carpenter's Hall. Meshbox Design's Carpenter's Hall is a 3D representation
of the historic Philadelphia building that housed the first Continental
Congress of the American Revolution. It is a two story building
with a steeple - each room is completely furnished. It is based
on photographs of the original building but may not be historically
accurate
- Old North Church. Meshbox Design's Old North Church is a 3D
representation of the historic Boston church that figured prominently
in the American Revolution. This famous church is well remembered
at the place where Paul Revere received the signal of the arrival
of the British to Lexington and Concord - "One by Land, Two
by Sea". This beautiful model includes a steeple, main chamber
with accurate pews and boxes, pipe organ and more.
- Williamsburg Courthouse. Meshbox Design's Williamsburg Courthouse
is a 3D representation of the historic Virginia building. The model
is not an exact replication of the historical location. At the
historical Courthouse, local citizens gathered there on May 1,
1783 to hear of the end of the war with England, just as seven
years before, a local citizen read there the Declaration of Independence.
Inside the model, you will find a full court house with public
seating, witness box, seats for lawyers and judges. A side room
offers an elegant meeting area with a covered table - perfect for
formenting rebellion or revolution!
- Raleigh Tavern. Meshbox Design's Williamsburg Courthouse is
a 3D representation of the historic Virginia building. The model
is not an exact replication of the historical location. At the
historical tavern, rebel Patrick Henry coordinated the defence
of the Virginia colony. The lower floor offers two cheerful public
rooms, while the upstairs offers accomodation.
